El Chupacabra is a bold Brazilian Yerba Mate blended with cinnamon, ginger, black and white pepper, clove, nutmeg, and cardamon.

Mate is rich in caffeine and was used as a caffeine beverage in Latin America before the advent of coffee. This is our first Yerba Mate in our collection (not the last) but we thought the best flavors to couple with this earthy green tea were chai spices.

The chupacabra literally translates to 'goat-sucker' Spanish: chupar, 'to suck', and cabras, 'goats')

El Chupacabra is a legendary creature in the folklore from parts of the Americas, with its first purported sightings reported in Puerto Rico in 1995. The name comes from the how it apparently eats. The chupacabra is said to attack and drink the blood of all livestock, not just goats.

Do not add too much tea to your steeper of choice, as the leaves will double or triple in size. You can also steep our tea leaves multiple times because of the quality. If you're having difficulty with your tea brewing correctly, please reach out to us and we'll be happy to help troubleshoot!
